I’ve been doing weddings for 12 years. My style combines
artistic portraiture and photojournalism. I put myself through college
doing commercial work, weddings and journalistic photography. I particularly
enjoy the documentary style because it is honest. Some people think
that this type of photography is easy and that anyone can do it. In
my experience this is not the case. It’s a tricky combination of many
elements that need to be anticipated composed and captured in less than
the time it takes to blink your eye. When it works it's amazing. Left
to an amateur it can be a disaster.
